  • Kristin Buxton

    Kristin has been dancing for a decade and DJing since 2001. A regular DJ in Portland until 2005 she has since lived and DJed in Seattle and now Pasadena for Lindy Hop and Blues dances.

  • Tina Davis

    Tina has been doing the DJ thang for five years and has been happily dancing for about eight years. She started in the great state of Florida and now calls Dallas, Texas her home.

    In addition to spinning her fave Lindy, Blues and West Coast Swing tunes in Austin and at various dances across the country, Tina has been a featured DJ at the following events: South Florida Lindy Exchange (2004 & 2005), Austin Lindy Exchange (2004 & 2005), Cheap Thrills (2005), STLBX (2004 & 2005), Down Home Blues (2005), Red, White and Blues (2005), The Rhythmic Arts Festival (2005), South Florida Lindy Exchange (2006), and Capital Blues (2006).

    She was also a co-DJ for the Yehoodi Radio Show in May 2005 with Houston DJ Kristina Arscott. Tina currently hosts a monthly blues dance in Austin, Texas called "The Back Room."

    Tina spins a mix of styles, but it's all got to be funky and have a little "ass" to it. She also likes 80's music, but don't hold that against her. Check out Tina's website at www.sweettproductions.com

  • Larry Kang

    Larry Kang was an original founder and moderator of yehoodi.com and has been active in the Lindy scene for ten years. He was the regular DJ as the Super Club and has played at every swing joint and event in or near NYC.

  • Thain Maurer

    Thain has been dancing and djing in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest for the past 10 years. His music energizes dancers and he is always a crowd favorite. He is known for his great music finds and always keeps the crowd happy with an unexpected song. This will be his 6th DLX as a dj.

  • Rayned Wiles

    Rayned Wiles is one of the East Coast's most popular DJs with a busy schedule. He is a nationally-known DJ with extensive experience working conventions, dance camps, and national competitions. He has worked at Swing clubs throughout the country.

  • Mike Buckner

    Michael Buckner has been DJing in Colorado since 2003. Since then, he has become the house DJ in Colorado Springs and is a regular guest DJ at many Denver venues. He has also spun in exchanges across the country and he has DJed the last four Denver exchanges. When listening to one of Mike's sets you will hear a lot of groovy swing, with a good mix of classic and modern songs. Michael likes to fill his sets with songs that make you want to dance.

  • Mike Dancel

    Mike has been teaching, DJing, and promoting swing within the Colorado Springs area since 1998. Mike founded Swing in the Springs and is a co-founder of Focus on the Lindy. Mike is constantly in search of new swing music to keep the dance floor packed. Mike has been a featured guest DJ on Yehoodi Radio (June 2003), has DJ'd at 4 Denver Lindy Exchanges, Utah Lindy Exchange and Lindy Groove.

  • John Dyer

    John Dyer has been DJing for swing dancers for about 10 years, getting his start in Rochester, NY. After moving to Colorado, he's been regularly spinning in Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. John teaches and DJs a lot in Boulder, where he co-hosts/DJs PSSB (Pearl Street Swing and Blues) and is a weekly instructor for http://www.boulderswingdance.com. This is John's 7th time spinning at DLX and he is really looking forward to finding the tunes that keep people dancing all day AND all night. And if he ain't DJing, be sure to ask him for a dance!

  • Scot Mattson

    Scot got his start spinning at Lucky's Lindy and Blues back in the day. Since then, he has DJ'ed at several local house parties and became the house DJ at Denver's only regular Blues night, Blues at the Turn. Nationally, he has also DJ'ed at Friday Night Blues in San Francisco and the Juke Joint Blues Workshop in Phoenix. Scot loves variety and tries to play as much as he can to keep the dancers happy and the floor packed. He does, however, have a particular fondness for piano blues and jazzy blues, especially if it gets some of that slow drag on the floor.

  • William Murakami

    William Murakami spins regularly at the Turnverein Swing Club dance on Fridays in Denver. He also has spun at the Mercury Cafe, the VFW in Colorado Springs, Pearl St Swing and Blues, CSDN Lindy Bombs, 2003/2004 Utah Lindy Exchanges, the 2004 and 2005 Chicago Lindy Exchange, STLBX 2005, Las Vegas 2007, 2008 and DLX 2004-2008. "DJing inspires my dancing as it gives me insight into the wonderful selection of music the world has to offer! I can't wait to share some new finds with everyone!"

  • Shana Worel

    Shana Worel co-hosts the popular Pearl Street Swing and Blues on Saturday nights in Boulder, and is a frequent guest DJ at the Mercury Cafe in Denver. She has been the guest DJ on Yehoodi.com, and has spun at LindyGroove and numerous national exchanges.

  • Tiffiny Wine

    Tiffiny Wine is a local teacher and DJ, who has been teaching and performing Lindy Hop in Denver for over 10 years. She has been DJing here in Denver for the last year as the house DJ at the Mercury Cafe. She loves classic R&B, Big Band, Soul, Gospel, classic and Gypsy Jazz and Blues of all kinds, and she most enjoys playing the classic sounds that inspired the dance!

  • Kenny Nelson

    Kenny Nelson, a Denver local, is excited to DJ his first DLX. He is known around Colorado, having guest DJ'ed at the Mercury Cafe, the Denver Turnverein, PSSB, Swing in the Springs, and the Blues Room. He is known for his swingin' tunes ranging from the soulful to the janky, groovy to the classic. Notable events he has DJ'ed include Lindy on the Rocks (Denver's premier competitive lindy hop weekend), MWLF, ULX, and Mile High Blues. See you on the dance floor!
